Seaboard International was established in 1983 as a division of Forest City Trading group with the goal of becoming a long-term strategic part of our customer's and supplier's procurements and marketing plans.

The only way this can be done is:

• With honesty and integrity
• High levels of service
• Understanding the needs of all trading partners
• Great execution
• Having the relationship of a trusted, knowledgeable consultant
• Avoiding ephemeral trading partners

We know partners have options and we know we are only as good as our LAST trade.  Each trade needs to work for everyone involved...every time.  That is good execution.

Seaboard International has grown to 45 traders and $550 million in sales since 1983 by doing what we say we are going to do.  Customers and suppliers have learned this and the result has been steady growth.

Our trading staff is key to our success.  The company has hired top quality, ethical people and trained them with a focus on our core values:

• Treat others as you would want to be treated
• Do what you say
• Know the product

We also focus on training them on the latest technology that speeds the information flow to our trading partners ahead of the competition.
